Jessica Moore is a Certified Master Groomer (2006) with over two decades of experience in the grooming industry. She began her animal-care career working with horses, developing a strong foundation in animal behavior, handling, and safety before transitioning into dog grooming. In 2001, she entered the grooming industry after working as a bather for two years and has since built a diverse background spanning competitive grooming, storefront ownership, and national-level education.
Jessica currently serves as a Services Training Coach with Pet Supplies Plus, where she is dedicated to helping grooming students achieve their goal of becoming confident, professional pet stylists. Teaching is her passion, and she finds the greatest reward in witnessing the “lightbulb” moments when techniques click and students gain confidence in their skills.
An Andis Global Small Animal Educator since 2018, Jessica is a retired competitive groomer (2006–2018) who shows and breeds Standard Poodles. She specializes in show dogs, Poodles, hand-stripping wire coats, and feline grooming. Her instruction is grounded in real-world experience, technical excellence, and a deep respect for the craft.
Outside of her professional work, Jessica is a mom of four and takes great pride in watching her daughter follow in her footsteps as a pet stylist, further reinforcing her commitment to mentorship and the future of the grooming industry.
Jessica travels nationwide providing hands-on private and group education, seminars, and live instruction at trade shows in partnership with Andis. Safety is always her top priority
for both the pet and the stylist, and every class emphasizes humane handling, proper tool use, and building skills that support long, successful grooming careers.
